May 20th Note:  Election Rules and Nomination Forms were provided at the May 18th Annual Meeting and Picnic, but can also be received by emailing wassamasaw@hotmail.com if you were unable to attend the event. Nominations are due by June 1, 2025.

 

June 2nd Note:  Elections have been announced at the Annual Meeting on May 18th, on the website, facebook, and in our Summer 2025 Newsletter. Elections are July 12 from 11 AM - 12:30 PM.  

 

July 15th Note:  Tribal Elections were held on July 12, 2025 at Goose Creek Rec Center from 11 AM - 12:30 PM during the regularly scheduled meeting as communicated. Updates made to the Tribal Government page based on the results.

10/10/2025 - Education Day at Old Santee Canal Park starting at 9:30 AM

 

10/11/2025 - Wassamasaw Annual Powwow at Old Santee Canal Park starting at 10 AM - Grand Entry at 12:00 PM

Don't Forget the Men's and Women's Dance Classes Being Held at the Goose Creek Recreation Center - Final Class for 2025 is October 4th.
